TAG-A-LONG

Nantucket Harbor Launch is a water taxi service.

We take people to and from their boats out in the harbor. But all are welcome to ride along with us.

We call it the Tag-a-long. You don't have to have a boat to see Nantucket from the water! It’s not really a tour - but it is scenic and fun. You go where we go. Usually 20ish minutes but longer if you’d like.

Buy a ticket on line or show up and buy one from the launch driver. You don’t have to book a reservation. During the season we run nonstop all day long from 7AM -Midnite. Check website for shoulder season hours. Present email confirmation to the driver if you buy online. Tips are always appreciated. You are on an island. You should see it from the water!

About Us

The docks for the Nantucket Harbor Launch are located in the heart of town behind the Straight Wharf Restaurant and near the Hy-line ferry. Our Crosby 26 launches service the Nantucket mooring field and the general anchorage. We take people to and from their boats out in the harbor. But all are welcome to ride along with us. We call it the Tag-a-long! Come get out on the water. During the heart of the summer season we operate continuously from 7AM til midnight seven days a week - weather permitting, of course. We open Memorial Day weekend and operate into September. We monitor VHF Channel 68. During the shoulder season our hours can be limited so email, call or check the website for updates.

When placing your order be sure to provide your name, phone number and mooring ball. Please hail us on Channel 68 to know to expect the order . Tell us the estimated time they gave for delivery to our docks..

If you are at anchor hail us on 68 with the name, description of your vessel and the approximate location. Monitor 68 until we find you in the anchorage.

An $8 delivery fee will added to your charge at the restaurant. A cash tip to the driver is always appreciated

We can also deliver potable water to your vessel for $1 per gallon

We sell 8 pound bags of cubed ice at our dock for $7

We deliver it for an $8 delivery fee.
